This position is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum and IEPs, maintaining all necessary records/documentation, and overseeing all aspects of classroom functioning including supervising a teaching assistant.
This is a great opportunity to work with a team of experienced, caring, dedicated (and just plain nice!) educators with a passion for working with children with special needs. School hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am 3:00 pm. Job RequirementsBachelors and/or Masters degree with major in Special Education.Valid and current Massachusetts DESE Licensure (Pre-K-8) in moderate and/or severe disabilities.Experience preferably with students who have a wide range of multiple disabilities.
