Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, installation, modernization and safety tests on both traction and hydraulic elevators, escalators and other conveying systems independently and in a team setting.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
- Fabricate and modify parts as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Skills:

- Previous (elevator) mechanical experience: You need to have an interest in and passion for building and fixing things
- Knowledge of shop equipment and tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Communication skills and ability to positively represent the company to customers
- Problem-solving skills: You need to enjoy exercising your brain to figure out the root cause of a problem, and thriving on the satisfaction of fixing it
- Proficient in analyzing and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures
- Safety: You don’t take shortcuts, you always work in a way to prevent injury to yourself and others
- Fitness: You need to be physically fit and be able to lift heavy objects
Requirements:
- HIGHLY PREFFERED: Completion or in-progress NAEC CET Elevator Mechanic Certification
- Elevator Mechanic Experience
- Ability to work in a field service environment, including travel to different job sites
