Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care during surgical procedures and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Duties:
- Assist surgeons during operations by managing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and ensure sterile conditions
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operating Room setting
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Proficiency in computer skills, copier, printers
- Experience in orthopedics, ENT, plastics, podiatry, Pain Management services
- Experience in the care of infant through adult in outpatient setting, preferred
