Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting. Your role will involve managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and ensuring efficient front desk operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Ensure waiting areas are clean and comfortable for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
