Minimum Qualifications: 1.Masters degree from an accredited college or university2.Supervisor/Director License from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
3.At least five (5) years experience as a school or district administrator working with diverse students and staff.4.At least three or more years of successful teaching experience, teacher training, and staff development.5.Strong understanding of EDI concepts, theories, and best practices, with a demonstrated ability to apply then in a practical, educational-orientated context.6.Experience leading and managing racial equity initiatives in an education-focused social impact organization, public school or school district, or post-secondary institution.7.Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communications and presentation skills. 8.Must be an organized, creative thinker and practical doer, with proven ability to communicate, problem solve, and build strong, collaborative and effective professional relationships and achieve results. 9.Familiarity with the Educator Evaluation System, including rubrics, plans, and contractual timelinesResponsibilities: 1.Partner with senior leadership in Human Resources to integrate and embed equity, diversity, and inclusion principles and practices into all aspects of the organization, including hiring, retention, promotion, and decision-making processes. 2.Partner with senior leadership in Unified Student Services to support the integration of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles and practices into all aspects of the districts support programming.3.Support the implementation of districts Civil Rights policies, practices, and regulations, as directed.
4.Lead efforts to assess the Brockton Public Schools current equity, diversity, and inclusion landscape, identify areas for improvement, and establish measurable goals and objectives.5.Monitor and analyze data to track progress on goals and objectives.6.Collaborate with departments to identify and implement training programs on diversity, equity, and inclusion for employees at all levels.7.Serve as a resource and advisor to leadership and employees on EDI related matters, providing guidance and support to promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.8.Advises and consults with BPS leaders to promote inclusion and belonging across identity and affinity groups.9.Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, community groups, and industry networks.10.Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to address barriers and promote cultural competency across the organization.11.This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Unified Student Services.Compensation: 1.40 ratio for a 11-month work yearA resume of professional experience should accompany the letter of intent.
