We have an immediate opportunity for an energetic OUTSIDE SALES PROFESSIONAL who is driven to capitalize on the tremendous potential in our new market in and around central Florida .
Our ideal candidate is a proven B2B outside sales professional who has a track record of closing new business.
This is a ground floor opportunity with the potential to build a significant book of business in the central Florida.
This role will focus on generating maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration in the commercial flooring industry in the Central Florida market by effectively selling flooring products and installation services, with a company that's known for its family-oriented culture!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sustaining a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
- Demonstrating products and services to potential new customers, and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Promptly address customer concerns.
- Setting and achieving monthly and quarterly goals.
- Performing job site inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Flooring product and/or industry knowledge is required.
- Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is required.
- 2 years prior Commercial Project / Trade sales experience is required.
- Highly energetic with a strong flooring product knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to close new business.
- Coachable, with the willingness and ability to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve our customers and grow the business.
- Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment but also has a strong ability to function independently
- Positively persistent customer focus - strives to partner with customers and add value to the relationship.
- Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.
- A clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites are essential
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $71,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
