Job title: Electrical Engineer

Job summary:
Brava is seeking a candidate for an Electrical Engineer position. An electrical engineer in manufacturing would design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. They would be responsible for troubleshooting and ensuring things ran smoothly while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and productivity.
Duties/Responsibility:
- Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, or industrial purposes.
- Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
- Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
- Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems.
- Summarize data and report on test results.
- Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets.
- Monitor maintenance and inspections plans.
- Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specification, codes, or customer requirements.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specification.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Integrate electrical systems with renewable energy systems to improve overall efficiency.
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and application by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Designs electrical systems by developing and testing components.
- Confirms systems and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods.
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components and by soliciting observations from operators.
- Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures and requesting repair service.
- Maintains product database but writing computer programs and entering data.
Qualifications and skills:
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 3-Years experience in a continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing environment
Salary:
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
