LEEP Forward & Quantum LEEP Academy, a developmental pediatric therapy clinic & educational program, is now hiring Full-Time Assistant Clinicians for placement at our therapeutic clinic and pre-K- 8th grade programs- in Ravenswood.
LEEP is a multidisciplinary clinic with Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health, Educational, Developmental and Behavioral services, as well as a variety of social groups, including LEEP Forward Therapeutic Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten programming, and Quantum LEEP Academy K-8th Grade Independent Therapeutic School Program. Children enrolled in our programming are between the ages of 3-14 years old with a variety of developmental differences, including autism.
Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Speech, OT, Mental Health, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology) or at least a Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field but life experience with children with developmental differences. An assistant clinician works on-site in the therapeutic preschool/transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade programs, enrichment groups, after school groups and/or in after care. This work is done under the direction of a classroom lead with supervision and support from a Master's level clinical supervisor and experienced senior staff. Our collaborative model provides additional opportunities for learning through the lenses of multiple professionals. This is an entry-level position that sets the foundation for further growth. Experience with children with special needs is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Explore a child's world through play
- Build and grow meaningful relationships with child and team mates
- Develop an understanding of each child's unique profile
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Implement therapeutic programming designed by the multidisciplinary team and following the LEEP Model and QLA Curriculum
- Utilize diverse therapeutic strategies (DIR Floortime, ABA using the NDBI - Naturalistic Developmental Behavior Interventions framework)
- Support creation of materials to engage a child in programming
- Provide information to support accountability through data collection and documentation
- Participate in clinical conversations
- Engage in provided on the job training
- Ongoing individual supervision when working with child
- Monthly group supervision with BCBA/Developmental Therapist
- Incorporate supervision feedback and coaching into daily work
Job Details:
- Full-time with a guaranteed schedule
- Hours are Monday-Friday with an eight hour day (8-4 or 9-5)
- Programming is year round with Holiday breaks
- Certification in Crisis Intervention using QBS Safety Care
- Monthly Scheduled Professional Development
