Responsibilities overview: Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties Attend to the patient and parents individual concerns and expectations.
Your daily responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Providing knowledge to parents and patients regarding dental hygiene and post operative care with Provider.
- Presenting Infection control/Sterilization and disinfecting instruments
- Setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures
- Maintaining dental equipment inventory as needed
- Providing exceptional patient care
- Assisting providers during procedures
- Updating patient records and maintaining patient charts.
- Performing dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes and maintain dental/x-ray equipment.
- Clean each operatory in accordance with the state applicable infection control guidelines
