Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the firm's financial operations, working closely with the Managing Attorney and Finance Partner to achieve our financial objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and promote operational efficiency within the Accounting Department and across the firm.
- Execute all general accounting functions with precision, including billing processes, cash management, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and ensure timely compliance with tax filings and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize vendor contracts, insurance policies, and benefit programs.
KEYS TO HIRE
- 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within a law firm setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite software and familiarity with lease and contract management.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
