The Santaluz Club is a beautiful, private country club in Rancho Santa Fe. We pride ourselves on providing great experiences for all our members and that includes their dining experiences.
Our kitchen staff is an experienced culinary team in a scratch kitchen. We frequently change our menus based on seasonality and product availability. We believe in supporting local farmers and sourcing local products. We are committed to our craft and see the importance in the continued development of our culinary team.
We are currently looking for two Seasonal Line Cooks to join our team. A successful candidate in this role will have previous line cook experience, pay great attention to detail and be a team player.
Schedule:
- Open availability required as schedules will vary.
- Most shifts will fall between 9am and 9pm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Follow assignments for opening and closing procedures, as well as food production.
- Prepare food and beverage products following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
- Set up and operation of kitchen equipment.
- Clean equipment properly according to correct procedures.
- Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
- Passion for food and cooking techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
