Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory and Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of retail and wholesale orders, overseeing receiving the receiving, and maintaining a well-organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and fulfillment operations, with an eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Manage the entire order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and shipping customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Handle all items with care to maintain our high-quality luxury standards.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, receive new inventory, and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure all items meet our quality standards before shipment.
- Shipping Coordination: Arrange pickups, track shipments, and resolve any shipping issues. Manage shipping supplies and merchandise inventory, including purchasing and physical end-of-period inventory counts.
- Office Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the office, manage office supplies, and ensure common areas are tidy.
- Policy and Procedure: Collaborate with senior management on developing and maintaining shipping policies and procedures.
- Software Management: Act as the key user for shipping-related software and maintaining and creating SKUs for internal databases.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and shipments, and prepare reports as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to resolve any order-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or a similar role.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Shopify reporting, orders, and fulfillment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable with technology and adept at using various software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
