Domus Management Company, an established Affordable Housing Property Management Company, is currently looking for an Accounting - General Ledger Specialist to join our team at our corporate office in Lodi, CA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 plus years of General Ledger experience
- 2 plus years of Accounting with Multiple sets of books
- 2 plus years of Accrual Accounting experience
- Ability to analyze and research transactions
- Team player willing to support all accounting positions
- Experience with a fast-paced work environment
DAILY DUTIES & RESPSONSIBILITIES:
- Review monthly financial reports to include A/R Report, Budget Comparison, Balance Sheet, and Rent Roll.
- Review project lead sheet schedules and ensure they are tied to the monthly financial reports.
- Work with Director of Finance to ensure each project meets the required debt coverage ratio.
- Review monthly Bank reconciliations for all projects.
- Track and code project monthly debt service.
- Respond to agency, lender, and owner financial report questions.
- Review and approve tenant move-out reconciliations.
- Assist GL with Yardi month-end processing.
- Update partnership fee worksheets. Review fee invoices from limited partner for accuracy.
- Preparation of annual agency reporting.
- Oversee the preparation, submission and finalization of annual audit packages, audits, adjusting journal entries and trial balances.
- Coordinate/oversee the distribution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including audits.
- Research/answer auditor questions.
COMPENSATION:
- Full Time – Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hourly Pay Rate $26 - $30 per hour (based on experience)
