Job Title: Junior IT Cyber Security Analyst

A Junior Systems Engineer provides some technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management. Assists in providing technical input to the systems engineering process. May assist in developing and implementing installation plans. May assist in preparation and presentation of systems assurance reviews. Identifies requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products.
Bachelor's Degree
computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Position Title: IT Cybersecurity Specialist (SE JR)
The IT Cybersecurity Specialist will work as part of the vulnerability remediation team where they will continuously identify and remediate Windows workstation security deficiencies on 's network infrastructure and install patches to address security deficiencies. Use Nessus, SCCM, IBM BigFix and SQL reports and product logs to locate workstations, deploy MS patches or other software updates. They will use provided scripts, tools, and vendor products to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and verify resolution. The administrator will work with on-site staff and other CRISP contractors to perform audit readiness remediation for OIG and other security-focused audits and provide technical expertise as required by each location. Adhere to standardized system development and change management controls for mission critical systems. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Must have:
- Experience remediating and patching Windows OS and software security vulnerabilities in an enterprise environment
- Experience using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MEMCM)
- Experience analyzing baseline security reports
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required and 0 years of experience or a total of 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
