About The Role
The Data Bridge team at Rippling is assembling founding members to build data systems that will power ML models and new product lines. Positioned at the core of Rippling's compound startup strategy, our team is a critical platform unit. We're set to build advanced data systems, enabling Rippling to exceed its current 500+ integrations and solidify its reputation as the go-to for launching groundbreaking HR, IT, and Benefits products.

What You'll Do:
Collaborate within Rippling's central integrations team to build scalable distributed data ingestion systems
Take ownership of specific third party integrations and platform components
Gain exposure to various business domains through interaction with partners and customers
Ensure platform scalability and operational excellence
Develop your engineering skills and tackle challenging technical problems
Influence architectural decisions and technology trends within the company
Qualifications:
A minimum 3 years of professional work experience
Familiarity with building user-facing applications, APIs, or developer tools
Basic understanding of distributed services and high availability principles
Strong fundamentals in computer science and design patterns
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
Interest in product-focused environments with a focus on customer impact
Ability to work in diverse teams to implement and maintain data processing systems
Knowledge of data processing pipelines using frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink or Databricks is a huge plus
Proficiency in Go, Python, Django, SQL, and MongoDB is a huge plus
Familiarity with SSO protocols like SAML and/or OIDC is a bonus
Experience with integrating 3rd party SaaS providers and workflow orchestration systems is a bonus
Working knowledge of AWS and observability tooling is a bonus
