Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility/ meals and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Responsible for their designated group of residents during the shift, knows where their residents are and physically checks on them throughout the shift.
-Notifies leadership of changes in condition and recommends adjustments in the level of care and service
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements:
- Experience in senior care, patient care, or assisted living preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care and memory care techniques
- Ability to provide catheter care if necessary
- Familiarity with nursing home procedures and protocols
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
