The Prep Cook is the backbone of our operation. They are responsible for our production of ingredients in accordance with our brand processes and recipes. Our menu is very vegetable heavy, requiring significant cleaning and preparation. We expect them to have experience in the industry but we value scrappiness, reliability, attention to detail, integrity, and a willingness to learn above all else.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepping farm fresh vegetables, proteins, grains and house-made sauces.
- Remaining compliant with DOH checklist and temperature.
- Setting up and breaking down station(s).
- Maintaining an immaculately clean and organized station at all times
- An awareness of the pace of service and excellent communication/teamwork skills.
- Washing dishes, sweeping and mopping.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Cook with an extremely high sense of urgency, productivity and focus.
- Ability to regularly work on your feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis
