Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Sales Engineer Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

3+ years of experience in application engineering or sales; 5+ years is preferred
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
-
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities

Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred
-
1-3 years of mechanical engineering experience is preferred
-
Sales engineering experience is preferred
-
Industrial background is preferred
-
CAD experience is preferred
Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and create strong cases for pursuing them
-
Obtain and review project specifications and equipment schedules for various systems like boilers, pumps, and water treatment
-
Attend sales meetings to stay informed about project statuses
-
Maintain CRM tasks for specific projects, ensuring they are up-to-date for salespeople
-
Generate quotes based on project specifications and equipment schedules
-
Prepare detailed submittal packages according to specifications for client approval
-
Provide support for sales and training sessions, both on-site and factory-based
-
Serve as a backup for the parts manager, handling order processing, calls, quotes, shipping, and receiving
-
Attend client site visits to provide technical expertise and participate in local trade shows
-
Act as the engineering lead for projects, managing schedules and resolving issues
-
Distribute drawings, answer technical questions, and review submittals for accuracy
-
Provide aftermarket support, including quoting conversions and service jobs
-
Manage orders in the CB system for new products and aftermarket needs
-
Participate in monthly online training events for CB and Fulton manufacturers
