Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate & Excel: Work closely with external vendors, ensuring flawless payroll operations.
Precision Payroll: Handle weekly and semi-monthly payroll, guaranteeing timely and accurate employee payments.
Tax Savvy: Manage employee tax profiles, ensuring precise and diligent handling of changes.
Data Integrity: Ensure accurate data entry in HRIS for onboarding, salary adjustments, and benefits.
Audit Excellence: Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and compliance.
Legal Adherence: Stay updated on payroll laws, Department of Labor guidelines, and reporting requirements.
Tax Compliance: Oversee federal, state, and local tax law compliance, including new state setups.
Compensation Management: Calculate tax deductions, employee benefits, and other payroll-related expenses accurately, and manage the annual compensation process.
Year-End Reporting: Manage year-end tax reports like W2, W2C, 941X, and more.
Support Audits: Assist financial auditors with payroll-related inquiries.
Detailed Reporting: Maintain and provide ongoing payroll reports.
Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with unemployment and workers' compensation insurance policies.
Audit Leadership: Lead 401k and workers' compensation audits.
401k Management: Administer our 401k plan, addressing employee inquiries for smooth operation.
About You:
Educational Excellence: Bachelor's in Business, HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPP or GPMI certifications are a plus!
Experience Matters: 5-7 years of US payroll experience, focusing on complex payroll operations and multi-state compliance.
Regulatory Pro: Deep understanding of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation.
Organizational Guru: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in UKG and advanced Excel skills.
Communication Star: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
