Are you a creative and positive individual that loves people? Then come join our Membership and Golf Team at the Club at Tapatio Springs as the Member Events Coordinator. This position requires you to work closely with the Director of Membership, golf Team and members to provide day to day support for Membership Activities and maintain accurate Member accounts. The ideal candidate will be an individual that is a self-starter, creative, and energetic.
Responsibilities
Membership Sales and Retention
- Primarily responsible for the set-up of New Member Packets, including the editing and copying of all necessary Membership documents.
- Maintain the integrity of the data base by scanning and entering a New Member information into system.
- Assist with tours and New Member Inquiries as needed.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with member account issues or questions as they arrive.
- Handle Pool Party inquiries and contract finalization.
Membership Activities
- Create and execute events for members, including booking vendors, supplies and participation.
- Assist with invoicing and timely payment to all vendors.
- Entering of BEO’s and blocking event space in Sales Force
- Able to follow directions and execute to others in a leadership role.
- Responsible for billing of Events to Member Accounts and Resort Guests
- Facilitate and coordinate with all departments regarding events
Membership Communications
- Maintain current events on the Member Portal including Tapatio App, Members Calendar, and Member’s Website on a weekly and daily basis.
- Send out email blasts regarding special events.
- Create and publish event marketing collateral and other items as needed.
Assistant to Director of Membership
- Assist as needed with day to day activities and as asked
- Cover the Membership Office when the Director is out
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current and clean Driver’s License
- 2 years of Customer Service preferred.
- Social Events Experience a plus. Will be required to work with Members and Guests of all ages.
- Prior Knowlede of Salesforce helpful but not required.
- Must be able to walk, stand, lift 25 lbs, and bend continuously.
- Must be socially adaptive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is critical to success in this position.
- Strong computer skills necessary for this position: Excel, Word, Outlook, Jonas, Delphi, Canva, and Clubhouse Online are the programs used in this position.
- Work week will vary depending on events for resort and members. Some evenings will be needed to host activities. A typical work week will be Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday, 10am to 3pm.
- Pay based on experience - $16.50 to $20.00 per hour.
