We are seeking a full-time on-site Warranty Administrator. The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for handling all aspects of warranty administration, including filing and submitting warranty claims and verifying warranty coverage. The role also involves ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers regarding their warranty claims, resolving any issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities for the Warranty Administrator position include:
- Accurately coding warranty claims and entering into the appropriate automated system
- Processing warranty paperwork to ensure documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor
- Reviewing warranty claims and correcting any errors
- Maintaining good working relationships with the Service and parts Departments
- Booking/coding warranty and internal repair orders
- Reconciling all warranty work orders and working with Accounting to apply payments and credits properly
- Handle rejected claims according to manufacturer specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
- Assisting the Service Department in answering phones, writing up work orders, and any other duties as needed
Qualifications required for Warranty Administrator:
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Computer Literacy and proficiency in relevant software
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in warranty administration or related field preferred
- Experience in Heavy Equipment industry and technical experience a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and can handle a highly stressed environment
