D1 Training in Westminster, Colorado is looking to fill part-time coaching positions for EARLY MORNING, DAYTIME, and EVENING shifts. JOIN OUR TEAM.

D1 Training is an athletic-based training facility that delivers results. We work on speed, strength, conditioning, agility, and sport specific skills. Our athletes are looking to improve overall fitness, train to reach the starting team, collegiate or pro levels - we want to help our members achieve their goals! At D1, we train athletes from age 7 through adults. D1 is more than turf and weights; it’s a mindset and a community.

Our Strength & Conditioning coaches are responsible for delivering the BEST workout experience in the industry to our clients. The Coach is the front-line customer experience at D1. Coaches demonstrate a passion for training athletes of all ages from 7 years old all the way to the adult athlete. Coaches lead training in D1 membership workouts, D1-on-1 personal training, small group personal training, and team training. Coaches are Level 1 Certified the D1 Way and maintain a high level of coaching; adhering to the latest brand standards and quality control measures. D1 Coaches assist in conducting assessments and goal setting during the FTA process ensuring athletes are prescribed, motivated, and committed to the proper program to reach their goals.
In this role you will:
- Coach the core classes, personal training, camps, team training, and additional offerings.
- Conduct and lead all workouts the D1 Way at a high level. This requires an infectious energy with vocal verbal coaching, understanding/enforcing coaching cues, organization of the group sessions, and tempo and transition of all the groups.
- Oversee the training spaces during your sessions.
- Perform maintenance of equipment, light cleaning, and organization of all training areas.
- Attend and participate in marketing events such as competitions, combines, etc.
- Attend required staff meetings and complete personnel training
We are looking for coaches of all experience levels that meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must have a HIGH ENERGY training style and love motivating those you train to do their best!
- Available early mornings (5am - 10am) or in the evenings (4pm - 9pm).
- Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain
- 2+ Years of training or coaching experience
- NCCA accredited training certification
- Experience and knowledgeable in coaching performance, speed, and agility with proven results as demonstrated by client performance. Applicable certification preferred.
- -OR- Experience and expertise coaching one or more position specific skills in the following sports; football, baseball/softball, soccer.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Well qualified candidates will have one or more of the following qualifications:
- One or more of the following certifications: NASM-CPT/PES, NSCA CSCS, or CSCCA
- 2-4 years of experience training a variety of athletes in large groups
- High School or Collegiate level coaching and/or playing experience
- Proven personal training and retention experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
Compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and the job being performed. Base Pay - Administrative hours: $13.00/hr - $15.00/hr. Coaching hours: $17.00-$25.00/hr. Additional incentive compensation for meeting performance targets.
