Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a hotel in Lubbock, Texas, to oversee our hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, hotel management, and human resources.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest relations
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Implement and oversee revenue management strategies
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Maintain hotel facilities and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
Experience:
- Previous experience in hotel management or related field
- Proficiency in revenue management techniques
- Strong understanding of phone systems and reservation software
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of resort operations is advantageous
