Sales Associate - Job Duties
- Promptly welcome all customers with sincerity and enthusiasm.
- Provide a positive customer experience by being confident, intuitive, and direct.
- Suggestive selling through styling and product knowledge.
- Consistently build and develop customer base.
- Know the company’s history.
- Get to know your customers and their styles.
- Use sound judgment when making decisions and act with integrity and respect
- Use the appropriate levels of urgency to ensure time based tasks are completed by deadlines, and adapt to changes required by the business
Additional Requirements
- Experience in a luxury retail environment with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Open availability and flexibility to work nights and weekends including holidays.
- Is punctual and adheres to designated work schedule.
- Works well with peers and management to accomplish goals.
- Some heavy lifting required. Participate in the replenishment of product on the sales floor and maintenance of back stock.
- Ability to be aware of inventory/shortage concerns and communicate replenishment needs.
- Maintain store standards (visual merchandising, product representation, displays, etc).
- Assist store team in any merchandise movement such as receiving, floor moves transfers and markdowns.
- Comply with all opening and closing procedures.
- Point of sale experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, as well as strong knowledge of the brands we carry.
- Possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions
- Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
