The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center is looking for a full-time, experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work at our Cookeville office. Mileage and travel time paid. Must be able to work in our McMinnville and/or Crossville offices as needed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
record vital signs of patients and obtain medical history
assist the physician and/or nurse practitioner as needed
perform skin testing
administer allergy injections
handle phone nursing when appropriate, including triaging, calling in prescriptions, etc.
.maintain stocked, neat and clean exam rooms and common work areas daily
adhere to established practice policies and procedures and follow state and federal regulations
maintain strictest confidentiality, both internally and externally
perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, physician or management team
Experience with electronic medical records system required.
Hospital or medical office experience required.
