We are seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to join our growing property management team in Florida. Travel may include the Central Florida Area and Georgia. This position offers long-term growth as we continue to expand operations. Only positive team players need to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
- Maintain and repair grounds equipment, ensuring all tools and machinery are in safe working condition.
- Conduct property inspections and identify areas needing maintenance or repairs.
- Coordinate with property management and other team members to ensure maintenance needs are met efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist with special projects and renovations as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and property owners.
- Travel daily to different properties within the Gainesville and Central Florida Area.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of maintenance or related experience required.
- Experience in leadership, management, communication, and customer service skills.
- Superior knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
- Ability to operate and maintain maintenance and grounds equipment.
- Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to various chemical compounds.
- May need to provide own tools.
- Daily travel is required.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is encouraged.
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, clean criminal background check, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of vehicle insurance. *Company truck will be provided for business purposes.
