Job Description: Business Development Specialist
Reports to: State Vice President, Regional Director, & Director of Innovation & Development
Mission: The Recovery Center of Kentucky, the parent company of Aspire Day School, is dedicated to making comprehensive mental health services accessible to the communities we serve. The Recovery Center of KY provides outpatient mental health services, while Aspire Day School is a non-public school offering mental health services combined with educational enrichment opportunities for youth with behavioral challenges and mental health issues.
Job Description: Aspire Day School and The Recovery Center of KY are seeking Business Development Specialists with diverse skill sets to manage the creation of digital marketing campaigns and engage in direct community outreach. We are hiring in Elizabethtown, KY, and Louisville, KY. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, partners, and vendors while evaluating existing partnerships and outreach efforts to optimize strategies. Additionally, the specialist will support the implementation of strategic plans that promote innovation, technology transfer, commercialization, and economic development activities.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and referral sources to support business growth and marketing initiatives.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities and enhance brand awareness.
- Supporting marketing efforts by presenting market research to the marketing director and suggesting strategies to expand brand visibility and content reach.
- Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs) to secure new business opportunities.
- Researching emerging trends and recommending new company offerings to meet customers’ needs and stay ahead in the market.
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships to support business growth and marketing campaigns.
- Presenting business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management to align with strategic goals.
- Collaborating with the marketing department to create and implement digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and engaging target audiences.
- Developing email campaigns and creating graphic designs to support marketing initiatives.
- A background in article writing is preferred but not required.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in business administration, marketing, Literature, MBA a plus
- 3-10 years sales or marketing experience
- Working knowledge of technology marketing, sponsored research, healthcare research analytics, and lead sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven industry and/or small enterprise experience
- Experience in key functional areas, such as company marketing and commercialization
- Involvement in national associations relating to healthcare
- Involvement in local programs and networks
