Summary
Field Team members are functional and responsible members of the team under the direction of the Team Lead / Field Foreman. Team members will assist in steel structural erection. Duties will include contributions in rigging assemblies, bolt and weld connections, and operating shop and field equipment (e.g., reach fork, scissor lift, and forklift). All team members are required to follow safety protocols, maintain good jobsite housekeeping and assist in the fabrication shop when project flow requires increased production levels
Responsibilities
- Field trucks and trailers
- Truck tools, equipment and consumables
- Maintain safe and productive overall job site condition
- Contribute to positive customer interactions
- Build strong relationships with each crew member
- Provide constant support to the lead / foreman
- Always ensure that all consumables, hardware, and materials are loaded for the day’s work
- Drive to improve; request continuing education and instruction
- Contribute and develop creative solutions to problems
- Bear ownership of each job during installation
Requirements
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Learn and follow company policies and procedures
- Must be self-motivated & punctual
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks
- Possess a sense of ownership and pride for the work assigned
Schedule: 40 hours, minimal overtime. Performance driven metrics to align with budget
Salary: $17-22/hr, negotiable based on experience. Performance review annually.
