Primary Function
Play a pivotal role in ensuring our industrial customers in US/Canada receive the right products, at the right time, by leading finished goods replenishment for US/Canadian warehouses and breakstations, while also maintaining a forward-looking demand plan in JDA for over 24 months. The planner actively shapes demand forecasts with current sales, marketing plans, and market conditions to effectively manage inventory and product processes outside of US/CA manufacturing plants. Responsibilities include identify and mitigate potential inventory risks, determining what, how much, and when to order finished goods to support supply planning, establishing reorder quantities considering lead times, warehouse, and transportation constraints, and overseeing purchasing from 3rd party suppliers. Collaborating with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to achieve sales and service level targets for a positive Customer Experience, this role is crucial, visible, and collaborative. Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills are essential for continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Deliverables

The demand/replenishment planner's role drive exceptional customer experiences by executing specific tasks to meet customer needs, primarily assessed through the Perfect Order Metric (DIFOT/IFOT) and Forecast Accuracy.

Develop accurate forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.

Support the order promise process by reviewing booked orders, considering open sales orders, fixed production, inventory transfers, and purchase orders.

Generate analytical/statistical reports to aid demand planning, including forecasting exceptions and errors.

Translate the replenishment plan into Stock Transfer Orders by overseeing the process of transferring finished goods from source to destination.

Assist management with risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Manage the allocation of available stock across different locations.

Effectively communicate forecast and inventory estimates to team members and cross-functional partners.

Monitor and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and material shortages compared to inventory plans.

Conduct monthly demand reviews and maintain forecasts in JDA.

Hold bi-weekly meetings to review break station replenishment.

Contribute to process improvements for efficient demand planning and offer technical support for process enhancements and demand planning initiatives.

Oversee inventory accuracy, excess/slow-moving inventory, and aging inventory by coordinating at break stations and managed warehouses.
Relationships and People:

Collaborate closely with supply management, manufacturing, quality, warehouse, and engineering to solve material issues to prevent customer order delays at warehouses and break stations.

Communicate with supply management, as necessary, regarding lead-time changes and the availability of product.

Provide weekly updates on supply at recurring meetings, highlighting hot spots and working proactively to mitigate supply risks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Mathematics, or Engineering.

Demonstrated experience with SAP and related supply chain management applications.

Familiarity with JDA Supply Chain Planning tools is an advantage.

Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.

Highly analytical mindset with proficiency in mathematical and statistical concepts and proficiency in data visualization tools
