Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our outstanding team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, service-oriented, and possess a passion for providing top-notch patient care. As a lead RDA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and maintaining our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of other dental assistants in the practice
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of California
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in Cerec technology and experience with CAD/CAM systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
