We offer full orthopedic care and physical therapy at 2 locations with a third location in development. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive to lead our company towards continued growth and success.
Job Summary
The practice executive will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors and the management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. The executive will ensure the organizations objectives are met and will manage overall operations, develop and implement strategies, and ensure company growth. They will evaluate the financial performance area to foster revenue growth. The candidate will clearly communicate the organizational mission, vision, core values and culture to all stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans that meet business goals and objectives created in partnership with the Board of Directors.
Operational Management: Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
Financial Performance: Manage company resources effectively, ensuring financial strength and operational efficiency. Develop and manage budgets, and ensure financial goals are met.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, employees, and the Board of Directors.
Corporate Governance: Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain high standards of corporate governance.
Culture and Values: Promote a culture that reflects the company’s values, encourages high performance, and rewards productivity.
Innovation and Growth: Identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Lead initiatives to expand the company’s market presence and enhance competitive positioning.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company. Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Public Relations: Act as the public face of the company, representing the organization in media and public engagements.
Leadership Development: Mentor and develop the executive management team, ensuring a pipeline of capable leadership within the organization.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field, preferred). Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience: Proven experience as a leader or in other senior managerial positions. Experience in outpatient medical practice management is preferred.
Skills:
o Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
o Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
o In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best
practices.
o Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
o Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the
workforce.
o Proficiency with computer programs, especially excel. Ability to create
spreadsheets detailing financial standing. Ability to communicate key
performance indicators to board of directors.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: Prior experience in a high-growth environment, managing a company through significant growth and change.
Skills: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing innovative strategies that drive growth.
Working Conditions
The position is based in an office environment.
Regular working hours are 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as necessary.
Travel may be required for meetings with stakeholders, industry conferences, and other
events.
