The Wedding Coordinator meets with potential customers and provides information on the services offered in the Wedding Chapel. Responsible for all the details involved in the booking of a wedding, making the wedding arrangements in accordance with the wedding package purchased and coordinates all activities of the wedding.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Handles all inquiries on the phone and in person, on the services offered at the Wedding Chapel.
- Prepare and produce Banquet Prospectus/Catering/Weddings/Contracts.
- Organizes and conducts pre-function meetings between clients, vendors and hotel departments.
- Wrap bridal gifts as needed always keeping an adequate stock and available for Coordinators.
- Give tours of the Chapels to prospective clients, hotel guests, and any others who inquire.
- Check in floral orders daily ensuring accuracy and quality and sending back anything that is unacceptable to be redone by the florist.
- Keep Chapel stocked with supplies, brochures, and forms as needed
- Ensure chapel is clean, organized and ready to go before each wedding
- Prepares all paperwork required in the coordination of a wedding. Establish and maintains records on each wedding. Follows-up on a regular basis to ensure all arrangements have been specified and made in preparation for the wedding day.
- Coordinates all activities on the day of the wedding to include: preparation of dressing room, ensuring delivery of flowers, set-up of chapel, assisting the bride and/or groom with dressing in preparation for wedding, greeting and seating of guests, etc.
Assists in the coordination of weddings performed at the other locations on property.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
- Work requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Work requires a minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Work prefers prior experience in wedding planning, catering or hotel reservations preferred
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
Work requires knowledge of computer programs including: Word, Excel, Windows, LMS.

Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations relating to staff and guest problems, in a timely manner.
