PURCHASE ORDER SPECIALIST

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Purchase Order Specialist to join the ENTACT team in Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join an industry leader in environmental remediation construction.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Main responsibility includes processing purchases orders and accounts payable invoices as part of the purchase order process.
- Require at least 2-3 years accounts payable experience with Purchase Orders
- Knowledge of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Accounting software, word, excel, 10-key and other general office equipment required.
- Purchase Order experience in construction industry is required
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Accounting program a plus.
- Additional requirements include ability to manage own workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- The position is Monday-Friday. Will start out 5 days in the office during the training period. After 6 months position could move to an office/home hybrid position.

Primarily an office position. At time travel to offices or projects in various locations around the country may be required. The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with site visits:
- Be able to stand or walk on a project site for extended durations.
- When on project sites or if performing some types of work activity wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, earplugs, protective eyewear, gloves, hard hat, steel toed work boots, and high visibility safety apparel.
Work Environment
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting and occasionally outdoors at construction sites.
