Fitco Health Club is seeking a motivated and engaging Sales Director that is looking to help members become the best version of themselves!
Must be passionate about fitness and helping others, have a personality for sales and a heart for service.
The Sales director ensures that the club delivers a fitness experience to all members. He or she is responsible for communicating and upholding company standards. They will lead team members to consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness and cleanliness. He or she will be head over Front Desk, Group Fitness, and Personal training. Must be well versed in workouts, how the body function, and sales. They are responsible for the successful attainment of department targets, including revenue and member retention.
STAFFING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Maintain a fully engaged and high performing fitness team that aligns with company values and goals
- Hire, develop, and manage performance of qualified Personal Trainers, group fitness instructor, and front desk personnel.
- Train & develop staff as needed regarding fitness and supplementation presentations, emphasizing the impact of these on member retention
- Conduct weekly (or as-needed) meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer direction, motivation and guidance toward achieving individual and company goals. Offer career growth and advancement opportunities as warranted
- Manage the Personal Trainer and Staff schedules including staying within budgeted non-session hours
FITNESS MANAGEMENT
- Ensure that all club members have access to a highly trained and professional fitness staff
- Ensure that all Personal Trainers are delivering high quality programs to their clients
- Develop weekly work schedules for fitness staff.
- Ensure that staff properly records their Time & Labor
- Provide member service and support related to fitness servicing issues.
- Assist members and encourage their involvement in fitness services.
- Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue objectives set forth by the Company with regards to Fitness services and Supplements
- Regularly train staff on industry updates and teach Personal Trainers to be continually successful and ensure that all clients are trained professionally.
SALES AND SERVICE
- Knowledge of FitCo Health Club personal training and membership programs.
- Knowledge of Fitness technique and program design.
- Must be able to adjust and operate all club equipment.
- Experience in coaching/motivating groups.
- Strong Leadership, interpersonal & communication skills.
- Able to generate, maintain & demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic & positive attitude.
- Possesses a strong member service focus. Responds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members and staff.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
