Duties:
- Design and develop new products and systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, and SolidWorks.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity and performance of designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for design projects.
- Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Utilize mathematical modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB and LabVIEW to analyze and optimize designs.
- Conduct testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support product development.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, or SolidWorks.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
- Knowledge of mathematical modeling and simulation tools, such as MATLAB or LabVIEW.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Note: Experience with carbon fiber composite materials is a plus.
