Established theatrical scenic fabrication and rental equipment provider seeking a Rental Department Operations Manager to oversee operations. The Rental Manager will be responsible for managing rental inventory, coordinating rental agreements and logistics, facilitating employee and company growth, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
```Responsibilities:```
- Manage the rental process from start to finish, including inventory management, scheduling, and coordination of rental agreements.
- Ensure all rental equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Coordinate with co-workers to schedule pick-ups, deliveries, returns, and exchanges of rental items and fabrication materials.
- Train and supervise rental staff to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor rental trends and make recommendations for adjustments to inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of rental equipment and services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of rental operations with other areas of the business.
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education, certification in business or theatrical engineering experience is required.
-Entertainment industry and production experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the theatrical production industry or related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a mentoring approach.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with rental management and inventory software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
