SKY Flooring Distributors www.skyflooringusa.com Specializes in vinyl lvt flooring, we are looking for an Outside Sales Account Executive to join our team. This position focuses on selling and promoting LVT flooring, to the designer, construction, builder, and retail stores community. Working primarily on the road, this person connects and builds relationships in the trades industry to focus on opening new customer accounts,
This position is ideal for those who have good relationships with builders, designers, and retail showroom customers, candidate should enjoy expanding their client relationships. We offer a base salary with uncapped aggressive commission potential,
Snapshot of position
Establish and maintain relationships with our customers (flooring retailers, developers designers, etc.) that results in consistent sales growth
Schedule appointments and visit existing and potential customers to present latest products and services that will meet the customer’s current and future needs. Establishes new accounts and partnerships and builds a relationship with customers.
Establish weekly routes based in assigned areas
Ensures placement of marketing products, specifically sample towers and sample books/Catalogs,
Send sales orders and photographs to customers as requested.
Listen to and resolves customer complaints regarding service, products or personnel. Notify General Manager, Branch Manager immediately of complaints received.
Continuous follow up with potential customers to nurture the relationship.
Perform product presentations, continuing education courses and client library updates.
Develop and maintain product knowledge of merchandise and available sales promotional materials.
Participate in trade shows, exhibits and related corporate promotional activities.
Attends various special networking events representing the company or company sponsored parties or events.
Set yourself apart
Prior sales experience in a wholesale environment required. – Opening new accounts
Knowledge of flooring products and the ability to read Architectural plans a plus
Excellent client service skills, people skills and enjoys building relationships
Effective communication skills
Sales driven, goal oriented and successful at prospecting for new accounts
Proficient using Microsoft Office
Interior design background a plus

Pay: $35,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
