- Additionally, the incumbent must comprehend the requirements necessary to meet production schedules; i.e., material, personnel, equipment and order scheduling, as well as have the ability to set up and make minor adjustments to a limited number of assembly equipment
- Additionally, the incumbent must pack completed products according to customer order, including the appropriate number of units and instructions, taping and labeling appropriately
- Responsible to correctly set up and perform a limited number of subassembly, assembly, testing, and packing operations within the Assembly department
- Ensure productivity is maintained at 100% or above to minimize cost to the department, while maintaining schedule integrity
- Ensure that the quality of products being made is within company standards, limiting customer dissatisfaction
- Assemble small and large parts using fingers, hands, wrists arms and shoulders
- Recognize potential problems with products or processes to ensure that company quality standards are maintained and trouble shoot as necessary
- Ability to read detailed prints and engineering specifications
- Maintain and increase job skills to allow for flexibility within the Department
- Identify non-conforming product and follow ISO procedures
- Provide input during testing and final acceptance
- Responsible for completing any attendant SPC paperwork as well as other routine paperwork required by the department
- Ensure that accuracy, neatness and legibility of paperwork is maintained, minimizing cost to the department through elimination of tracking and corrections of mistakes.
