Scope:
Responsible for the creation, implementation, and administration of programs that evaluate, enhance, and improve employee and organizational performance.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Compile training content that aligns with the needs of the business, predominantly in multi-unit / field-based organization with emphasis on manager/management capability across the business.

Utilize metrics and collaborate with key stakeholders to determine learning and development needs and effectiveness for both salaried professional as well as hourly, field based and corporate learners.

Optimize learning management system to meet learning and development needs.

Delivery majority of curriculum/learning pathways electronically via learning management system to team member devices vs in person training.

Manage learning and development programs, with an emphasis on growing manager capabilities that align with the current and future needs of the business.

Partner with Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to create and execute an outstanding new hire experience including new hire orientation and ramp-up to productivity based on career pathways within 3 to 6 months.

Partner with training vendors and third parties to supplement training needs as determined.

Responsible for oversight of required compliance-based training programs based on federal, state and/or local guidelines.

Serves as functional subject matter expert on Workday talent and performance processes.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and city legal requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree required

3+ years of predominantly independent total learning and development experience in multi-unit and remote learning environment

Experience in Workday Enterprise Learning Management System (preferred)

Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and creating solutions to address those issues

Ability to prioritize based on clear understanding of unique business and learning needs that produce highest value to the organization at an enterprise level

Balance of business acumen, high emotional intelligence, and strong interpersonal skills

Knowledgeable and adept at interpreting and adhering to labor laws and regulations at both the state and federal level

Team player who also likes to have some fun at work
