Primary Functions:
Perform all Teller and Customer Service Representative responsibilities. Refer customers to appropriate departments as necessary. Recommend appropriate solutions and services based on customer need.
Primary Activities

Demonstrate skills and behaviors necessary to achieve growth of deposit solutions, referrals to business partners and sharing successes in an effort to build customer relationships.

Acquire and deepen customer relationships through the identification of needs and by matching appropriate solutions through deposit growth activities.

Meet and exceed deposit growth and incentive goals with the utmost of accuracy and highest ethical standards.

Perform all transactions consistent with the role of a Teller including but not limited to:
-
Checking & savings transactions, loan payments and account inquiries.

Sell travelers checks, treasurers checks, money orders and other banking solutions.
-
Perform transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures with a high degree of accuracy.

Efficiently and accurately perform end of day proving to include taking computer totals, scanning checks, balancing daily work and proving cash drawer.
- Provide a friendly, yet professional level of customer service to both external and internal customers.

Perform all transactions consistent with the role of a Customer Service Representative including but not limited to:

Open new deposit accounts (for example, Checking, Savings, IRAs, Certificates of Deposit and Money Market Accounts.)

Order checks and ATM/Debit Cards.

Accept wire transfer requests, verifying information and availability of funds.

Provide customers with information on all aspects of deposit accounts and bank services including rates, service charges, restrictions and other relevant account information.
- May perform the duties of the Safe Deposit Box attendant.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma.
-
Successful completion of in house teller training program.
-
Advanced math skills.
-
Prior customer service experience.
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficient computer knowledge & ability (windows, word, excel spreadsheets).
- Excellent knowledge of current Bank policies and procedures.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with emphasis on high quality customer service.

Additional responsibilities: required to be Notary Public, Medallion Guarantor, signature guarantor, registered on the NMLS site.
Physical & Environmental Factors

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift or carry 5 pound bags of coin.

Work is normally performed in an office environment.

May operate office equipment necessary to perform job function.
