PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Providence Surgery Center, Mt. Juliet, TN

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary procedures and protocols are followed.
- Monitor patients post-operatively in the PACU, providing specialized nursing care and managing pain and discomfort.
- Assess patient recovery and readiness for discharge, coordinating with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.

Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 2 years' of experience in preoperative and/or post-anesthesia care, preferably in a surgical setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
