Creative Services Production Manager
The Creative Services Department of PRI Productions encompasses graphic design, print production, photography, web development and marketing. The Manager of this team will be the leader and subject matter expert of these creative studio services offered by PRI Productions. He/She will manage a diverse team of people along with the processes and technologies of an extremely busy, high-output department to ensure that projects are developed and delivered on schedule and under budget, not only meeting clients’ expectations, but exceeding them.
The Creative Services Production Manager must be both right-brained dreamer and a left-brained thinker, serving as the lead designer and business manager. He/She should have an eye for detail, quality control and design coupled with the ability to inspire their colleagues at all levels for success, evaluating the creative output system-wide. Successful candidates must provide leadership through influence and be able to effectively navigate the complexities of a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Brand Development and Innovation and will assist in evolving and advancing the brand strategy of PRI Productions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all creative services team members, including day to day function and project management
- Lead the creative services team in the consistent delivery of high-quality and experiential creative assets across a wide range of channels including print collateral, event graphics, signage, web, social and digital publication
- Lead development of compelling creative materials needed for projects and proposals
- Accountable for quality control and distribution approval on all creative output for the department
- Responsible for implementing strategies to optimize the efficiency of the department and the processes by which the rest of the company connects to it
- Build a positive, progressive culture with clear expectations for behavior, teamwork, excellence and growth
- Collaborate with CEO and VP to advance long-term design strategies, ensuring high-quality production is upheld system-wide
- Assist VP in content oversight of all social and web collateral including but not limited to photo editing and copywriting
- Stay on top of trends and best practices, assisting with continuous learning for team members
- Assist with training and onboarding of team members
Qualifications
- Presentation of portfolio required
- Bachelors degree in digital media or visual communications or equivalent work experience in the industry
- Minimum (3) three years experience in creative managerial role with a proven track record of performance and goal achievement
- Superb visual design skills with technical proficiency in Adobe programs including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Knowledge and proficiency in Graphic Design and Photo Editing
- Experience with commercial and large format print production preferred
- Experience with marketing and brand strategies preferred
- Strong leader with excellent communication skills
- Ability to give direction clearly and concisely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
