Naia is hiring production staff for our ice cream and gelato kitchen in Hercules.
Shifts are generally 40 hrs per week with occasional overtime. Join us and help the team make the premier Gelato, Sorbetto and Ice Cream in the Bay Area. Excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of making Gelato and Ice Cream while growing with the company as we expand.
Job Duties include:
- Preparation of fruits, nuts, chocolates, and spices for dairy and non-dairy flavors
- Completing Production Checklists
- Freezing, filling, and/or packaging ice cream products
- Maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards throughout production
- Taste testing and enjoying gelato and sorbetto
Our primary goal as an employer is providing a safe environment for employees with proper personal protective equipment and plenty of social distancing. Our 3,500 sf production environment typically has around eight people during peak shift.
Previous prep and/or kitchen experience helpful but not necessary. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during an 8 hour shift.
