This team has one of the most important roles within the company – we literally keep the company moving and the buildings safe. We are the backbone of the whole operation!
Your Primary Responsibilities
The Facilities Associate is typically responsible for:
- Responsible for the security, maintenance, and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees
- Manage company wide fleet (Vehicle inspections, maintenance visits, etc).
- Set up remote offices & travel to them to help maintain.
- Set up vendors for offices and other projects.
- Collect bids and quotes for ongoing services and new projects.
- Manage, negotiate, & renew leases for remote offices and other properties.
- Monitor our security system for both HQ & our main warehouse.
- Compile monthly facilities expense reports.
- Complete daily workflows with a 24hr period.
- Help manage budgets for facilities and capital expenditures.
- General handiwork and problem-solving skills.
- General computer literacy and email etiquette.
- Utilization of Google Calendar.
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Qualifications
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to navigate and track multiple projects using multiple systems – mainly Google Sheets
- Ability to complete general handiwork
- IE: changing a light bulb, replacing a filter, etc.
- Experience working independently and with a team
- Experience with sourcing and vetting new vendors
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
You might also have
- Previous experience as a facilities associate
- Strong analytical skills
- Previous purchasing and sourcing experience
What we look for
We are looking for highly motivated, talented individuals who can keep our facilities safe for all team members and set up new offices as needed.
Compensation: Starting pay is around $23 - $24 an hour
