Responsibilities
· Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
· Label and package medications accurately and efficiently.
· Measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders.
· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
· Assist patients with over-the-counter medications and other healthcare products.
· Conduct regular inventory checks and place orders for new stock as needed.
· Ensure all medications are stored correctly and securely.
· Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
· Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and hold a valid certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
· Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
