Position Overview:
As a Catering Restaurant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our catering and restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing a team, coordinating events, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of catering staff, including, servers, and support staff. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
- Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute catering events, ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions. Coordinate with event sales team to understand their needs, and ensure seamless execution of events.
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including inventory management, procurement of supplies, rentals, and equipment maintenance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Financial Management: Manage catering budgets and expenses effectively, monitoring costs and implementing cost-saving measures where possible. Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing and promotional efforts.
- Quality Control: Uphold high standards of service quality, presentation, and service consistency. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Communication: Foster clear and open communication channels within the catering team and with other departments. Keep all stakeholders informed about upcoming events, changes in procedures, and relevant updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or five years in a leadership position.
- Previous experience in catering operations or restaurant management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including catering software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
