This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the talent engine that is modernizing Identity and Access Management functions with the latest technologies. Reporting to the Manager, Identity and Access Management, Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing Ascension’s identity services and platforms.
Responsible:

Designs, creates and analyzes detailed workflows and documentation of IAM processes required to maintain security and minimize threats

Identifies outdated access control processes and makes recommendations to automate, modernize and strengthen IAM security
-
Participate in projects as an IAM SME; Research and recommend IAM standards and processes for projects and system implementations

Develops audits and compliance reviews including those supporting internal and external audit

Documents IAM process designs, procedures, policies, and controls

Mentoring IAM Analysts

Organizing and making documentation easily accessible
-
Ensuring content quality through editing and analysis

Level 3 SME escalation point for end-user problems and provides support to Analysts and provisioning team to ensure accurate resolution to the user community in a timely and effective manner

Advises management on information security policies, standards, procedures, security violations and security risks

Leading and organizing project team meetings using Agile methodology and processes
Qualifications
-
7 or more years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment with dedicated security administration and security management functions, 2 years in Senior technical role, strongly preferred.

Experience in IAM protocols such as SCIM, OAUTH, SAML, OIDC

In depth knowledge of SailPoint’s IdentityIQ or IdentityNOW products
-
Experience crafting identity lifecycle event flows such as Joiner / Mover / Leaver and access certifications with enterprise IAM / IGA tools.

Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

Previous team lead/management experience in the security administration/IAM/security operations area a plus.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and project teams using Agile methodology.

Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing IAM workflows and automation using industry best practice concepts.

Knowledge of and experience with AD administration and IAM systems

Knowledge of ITIL processes

Periodic on-call support after hours and weekends
Education:
-
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
