Primary work schedule 6:30 am – 4 pm Monday – Thursday and 7 am – 11 am Friday
Overtime & weekend work as needed when manufacturing machines are down.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement repairs or replacements as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with field service work and the ability to work independently
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in technical sales or customer service is a plus
