Description:
SUMMARY:
Working under the direction of the Director of Music and Worship Arts, the Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of all aspects, design, development and implementation of audio and is a part of a team for creative media. The schedule is approximately 12 hours per week including Sunday mornings and evening rehearsals during the week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and run audio for all church services, rehearsals, concerts, and events at North Naples Church including recorded events. Assist in recording audio for video shoots.

Train team members and volunteers on operation of audio systems and equipment creating a culture of team building and empowering others. Work with the team to ensure adequate weekly coverage for all audio needs.

Serve as subject matter expert and regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.

Work with the Director of Music and Worship Arts and team members to coordinate and prepare for special events and large services.

Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in a related field such as Technology, Audio Production, Media, Recording, or Music.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proficiency in mixing audio (studio and live settings)

Proficient in Allen Heath D Live console or similar console required.

Proficient using Mac and Windows, ProPresenter, Planning Center, Jands Vista (Byron), and Adobe Suite preferred.

Strong understanding and experience in setting up and mixing audio for large concerts and musical settings including but not limited to rock and roll bands, orchestras, and jazz bands.

Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness and remain calm in stressful situations.

Ability to manage large projects at the direction of the Director of Music and Worship Arts.

Strong leadership and team building skills.

Excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Ability to work in a complex environment and embrace flexibility when priorities shift.

Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 40 lbs. On-site physical presence required.
