Job Title: Executive Security Professional
Reports To: Director of Security
Job Purpose: The Executive Security Professional is tasked with providing a high level of security and personal safety for designated individuals. This role involves implementing security protocols, assessing potential threats, and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks. The Executive Protection Agent must be vigilant, detail-oriented, and capable of making rapid decisions in potentially high-stress situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Close Protection:
- Provide close protection for designated individuals during public appearances, travel, and other activities.
- Maintain physical proximity to the protected person while remaining discreet and unobtrusive.
Threat Assessment and Risk Mitigation:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for various situations, venues, and travel routes.
- Identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Security Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement security plans for events, travel itineraries, and daily routines.
- Liaise with event organizers, venue security, and local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the surroundings to identify and preempt potential threats.
- Utilize technology such as CCTV cameras, communication devices, and tracking systems to enhance security.
Emergency Response Team:
- Possess the ability to react swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, including medical emergencies, hostile encounters, or natural disasters.
- Provide first aid or emergency medical care as needed.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain clear and concise communication with the protected individual, and security team.
- Document incidents, security breaches, and any other relevant information for post-event analysis.
Maintain Confidentiality and Professionalism:
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality in all matters related to the protected individual and their activities.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism, ethics, and integrity at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass an extensive background test.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or one year private security with a focus on executive protection.
- Possess a valid CCW or LEOSA or willing to get one.
- Excellent situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
